The Learning Curve Academy is an independent school established in 2002. We are located in Eustis, Florida and serve families in the greater Lake County area. Our private school offers challenging educational opportunities for students in preschool through first grade and grades 6-12. We provide our students with an interdisciplinary learning environment that integrates the arts, humanities, and sciences.

Each student learns according to their learning style, and therefore accelerates at their own pace. Through our interdisciplinary curriculum, students learn about themselves, the world, and the history of development of human culture, which propels learning, promotes critical thinking and helps all students become achievers.     

It is our firm belief that using "inclusive practices" will provide students with special needs an advantage in preparation for their academic future, while providing a setting where parents can secure the necessary therapeutic services in the areas of physical, occupational, and speech. It is the goal of the school to provide a comprehensive approach to education through collaborative efforts of the school, the parents, the community and the students. 

Our Director, Cynthia Vary, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology, a Master of Science degree in K-12 studies, and is currently completing her  Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Administrative Management.

Developing mechanisms that effectively link different service providers at the program level is an important component of any effective comprehensive learning plan.

The purpose of our school is to improve a student's learning  ability and to increase choices, giving students and families the opportunities for academic achievement.

Our programs will teach to every child individually and to their own academic strengths, which will create children with high self-esteem. Our intention is to increase opportunities for learning and access to quality education for all students.
